A
lot of detecting devices, offering different levels of trustworthiness and
based on different technologies, are available on the market nowadays.
The customer's lack of knowledge in detecting devices, especially in security
tracks of Euro bank notes, is opening the doors to attractive solutions
in design and price which are, however, totally inefficient. That will leave
customers ready to be easily deceived by the increasing amount of counterfeit
bank notes in the short term due to the use of a not proper detecting device.
