The EuroScan Laser is a Euro banknote detector that stands out form others due to the fact that it is extremely easy to use, and combines maximum security levels in the face of counterfeit banknotes or fake banknotes, and the rejection of authentic notes with minimum handling requirements.

In terms of operation, the first step consists of passing the note through the scanning slot in a certain position, which is with the note in "landscape" position and face-upwards (metal holgrams and the large numbers indicating the value of the note). The second and last requirement refers to the way in which the note passes through the machine, as it should be guided in a completely horizontal position from left to right along the whole of its length.

If we pase the note through the slot and either authenticated upon leaving by means of a short beep and a green light, or on the contrary, when the note is false, a series of beeps is heard, and the red light goes on. However, for the purpose of adapting the machine to the requirements of each user, the warning signalscan be specially configured.
